Welcome to Miss Davies’ Class – Year 5 Welsh 2015/16

Spring Term

The theme for this term was ‘May the Force be with You’.

We have been studying:

Language – writing a diary on Tim Peake, creative writing, creating a persuasive poster, converting a narrative into a playscript, writing a news report, writing a report to compare pieces of art work and recording a group discussion.

Pupils also have the opportunity to work on Mathletics once week, which we would like to encourage them to use at home.

Theme – studying space and the planets, how penguins keep warm, the Greeks, composing a piece of music with instruments, painting and using oil pastels while listening to music, creating a 3D model of a space shuttle and using ICT skills to create PowerPoints and work on Comic Life.
